Job summary

TechniPower, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler for a major CIP program in the Decatur, GA area. You will develop and maintain program schedules in Primavera P6, monitor performance, and support cost tracking.

You will collaborate with project managers, contractors, consultants, and client stakeholders to ensure projects remain on schedule and risks are identified early. This hybrid position requires 3 days onsite at the client site and 2 days remote, with temp-to-perm or direct hire

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in project scheduling, project controls, construction management, or related field.
• Advanced, hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain program schedules in Primavera P6.
• Monitor schedule performance and progress.
• Support cost and budget tracking and variance analysis.
• Prepare program reporting and coordinate with PMs, contractors, consultants, and client stakeholders to stay on schedule.

You will be responsible for supporting project controls for a major Capital Improvement Program (CIP), with a primary focus on developing and maintaining program schedules in Primavera P6. You will monitor schedule performance, support cost and budget tracking, prepare program reporting, and collaborate with project managers, contractors, consultants, and client stakeholders to ensure projects remain on schedule and key risks are identified early. This position is ideal for someone who is highly analytical, communicates well, can work independently, and is comfortable solving problems with minimal supervision.

Temp-to-Perm or Direct HireHybrid position, requiring 3 days onsite at the client site and 2 days remote. Temp-to-Perm or Direct hire depends on the candidate.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• 10+ years of experience in project scheduling, project controls, construction management, or related field
• Advanced, hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Strong understanding of schedule baselines, critical path, schedule updates, progress tracking, and variance analysis

Pluses:

• Experience supporting Capital Improvement Programs (CIP) or other large-scale infrastructure programs.
• Familiarity with Oracle and SharePoint.
• Experience utilizing PMIS dashboards and managing cash flow, cost forecasting, and schedule/cost integration.
• Background supporting municipal, transportation, water/wastewater, or other public infrastructure projects.
