Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager III to lead quality across a portfolio of capital projects for owners or EPCs. You will design and uphold the quality management system, direct Project Quality Managers, and set vendor qualification standards while representing the client in audits.

The role requires 10+ years in quality on capital projects with 5+ years directing teams; CMQ/OE or CQA and ISO 9001 lead auditor credentials are expected, with NQA-1 a strong plus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in quality on capital projects.
• 5+ years directing quality programs and staff.
• Certifications in CMQ/OE or CQA, ISO 9001 lead auditor; NQA-1 lead auditor a strong plus.
• Experience as the quality authority on regulated programs (nuclear, energy, transportation, or federal).

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the program quality management system, procedures, and audit program.
• Direct Project Quality Managers across projects; set standards and review performance.
• Own supplier and contractor qualification; manage the approved vendor list and quality requirements.
• Represent the client in regulatory, certification, and third-party audits; report quality performance to executive leadership.
• Oversee corrective-action closure; report risk and cost of quality to executives.
