Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager III to oversee the quality across a portfolio of capital projects for the owner or EPC. The role sets the quality management system, directs Project Quality Managers, and represents the client in audits and regulatory reviews.

You will own supplier and contractor qualification, participate in third-party audits, and report quality performance to executive leadership.

Qualifications

10+ years of quality experience on capital projects.
5+ years directing quality programs and staff.
CMQ-OE or CQA and ISO 9001 lead auditor.
NQA-1 lead auditor a strong plus.
Experience as the quality authority on regulated programs (nuclear, energy, transportation, or federal).
Executive-level communication and the judgment to stop work when the record demands it.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain the program quality management system, procedures, and audit program.
Direct Project Quality Managers across projects; set standards and review performance.
Own supplier and contractor qualification, approved vendor list, and quality requirements in procurement.
Represent the client in regulatory, certification, and third-party audits; report quality performance to leadership.
Own corrective-action closure; report quality performance, risk, and cost of quality to executives.
Field visits to verify the system is being followed and decisions on nonconformances.
