Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager on a contract basis to lead the execution of a large-scale enterprise Workday implementation. This is a high-visibility initiative with significant executive sponsorship and organizational impact. This role will own delivery execution and partner closely with an implementation counterpart to ensure alignment across workstreams. The ideal candidate brings proven success leading enterprise Workday implementations, strong executive presence, and the ability to manage complex, cross-functional environments.

  • Compensation: $87 - $120 per hour plus benefits

What You’ll Do
  • Own end-to-end execution of the Workday implementation program.
  • Partner closely with implementation partner’s project leadership to drive alignment, accountability, and results.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination across IT, HR, Finance, and other enterprise stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment with executive sponsors and program governance standards.
  • Drive accountability across cost management, schedule adherence, resource planning, risk identification and mitigation, and quality assurance.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and executive-level reporting.
  • Proactively elevate risks, challenges, and critical decisions.
  • Serve as the primary internal execution lead for the program engaging effectively with executive sponsors, program sponsors, senior leadership teams, implementation counterparts, and project steering committee.
  • Ensure high-quality delivery across all workstreams.
  • Maintain strong documentation, meeting notes, and decision tracking.

  • Experience partnering with Big 4 firms and strong cultural alignment with consulting-led delivery environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage executive-level stakeholders.
  • Strong risk management and governance expertise.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
