The role offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus and opportunities to manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with public agencies, and deliver PS&E packages to FDOT standards.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of civil or transportation engineering experience.
• Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Experience managing municipal or county transportation projects.
• Knowledge of FDOT standards, the Florida Design Manual (FDM), MUTCD, and local design criteria.
• Proficiency with MicroStation/OpenRoads and AutoCAD.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to lead client interactions.

Position Summary

We areseekinga motivated and detail-oriented Transportation Senior Project Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing transportation projects for local municipalities or FDOT , including planning, design, and permitting. This position offers the opportunity to lead multidisciplinary projects that improve mobility, safety, and infrastructure in our communities.

This role is eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus, subject to the terms and conditions of the Company’s sign-on bonus program.

Your Responsibilities as a Senior TransportationProject Manager:

• Manage the design and delivery of transportation projects for local and regional government clients, including roadway, sidewalk, intersection, and multimodal improvements.
• Serve as Project Manager for assigned projects—responsible for scope, schedule, budget, and client coordination.
• Prepare and oversee development of plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) in accordance with FDOT and local standards.
• Coordinate with public agencies, utility providers, and permitting authorities.
• Conduct and/or oversee traffic analysis, safety studies, and roadway geometry design.
• Provide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staff.

Minimum Qualifications

• 12+ Years experience in civil or transportation engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Florida.
• Demonstrated experience in project management for municipal or county transportation projects.
• Working knowledge ofFDOT standards, the Florida Design Manual (FDM), MUTCD, and local agency design criteria.
• Proficiency with MicroStation /OpenRoads, AutoCAD, or similar design software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to lead client interactions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience withLocal Agency Program (LAP) projects or FDOT coordination.
• Familiarity with grant-funded transportation projects (e.g., CDBG, SCOP,SCRAP )
• Experience developing cost estimates and managing subconsultants.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civilor Transportation Engineering.
