Job summary

Tutor Perini Corporation, in Los Angeles, seeks a Project Manager to lead the Purple Line Extension Section 3 Stations construction, overseeing design, construction, testing, schedule, budget, risk, quality, safety and contract administration for the Project. This role reports to the Executive Vice President of Tutor Perini Civil – West.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or similar.
• 15+ years of experience managing the construction of transportation infrastructure projects worth about $1.4B.
• 5+ years of experience managing at least one design-build light rail or heavy rail transit project.
• Experience with cut‑and‑cover structures.
• License/registration in California preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project objectives and performance standards are met with a safety-first focus.
• Serve as primary liaison with the client, architects/engineers and key stakeholders.
• Monitor and control construction to keep on schedule and within budget; implement corrective action as needed.
• Represent the company in project meetings and strategy discussions.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect the company’s interests while maintaining client relations.
• Take on additional responsibilities as directed by corporate executives.
