Senior Project Manager – Los Angeles Structures Division
We are looking to hire a Senior Project Manager with a minimum of 12 years of industry experience to lead structural engineering services with an emphasis on new design, repair, and rehabilitation of constructed works and investigation and performance evaluation.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Performing a wide range of structural engineering analysis and design tasks in steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures.
• Preparing drawings and calculation packages, and writing reports.
• Supervising and coordinating large or multiple smaller engineering projects with complex features.
• Managing projects from proposal writing and budgeting through financial tracking, client management, and business development.
What You’ll Need
- 12+ years of experience in structural analysis and design of concrete, steel, masonry, and wood‑frame structures
- MS in Civil or Structural Engineering required
- California Structural Engineer licensure required
- Excellent written, oral, and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly
- Problem‑solving ability with strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Team‑oriented mindset and ability to work successfully with others toward shared goals
- Project management skills for managing projects of various sizes from inception to completion
- Accountability and responsibility, ability to meet deadlines and take independent initiative
- Enthusiasm, passion, and desire for continued learning of new ideas and concepts
- Familiarity with computer analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP, RISA, RAM, SAFE, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Report

Compensation
Salary range: $141,440—$176,800 USD. Base salary is part of SGH’s industry leading total compensation package including base salary, pay for extra hours worked, an annual discretionary bonus program, generous paid time off, and health and wellness benefits with substantial SGH contributions to medical insurance premiums and SGH’s Profit Sharing & 401(k) Plan.
