Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Project Manager to provide consulting services for a financial services client account, overseeing regional retail bank renovation projects.

This role sits in the Project Management function, covering initiation through completion. It is a remote role with up to 25-30% regional travel across Eastern or Central time zones, depending on client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience.
• Financial services client experience required. Retail construction program experience highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with Kahua, MS Project, or other project management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage all areas of project management for multiple real estate projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
• Coordinate renovation activities within occupied facilities while minimizing disruptions to business operations.
• Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project, including scope of work, resources, cost estimates & budget, work plan, milestones, quality control, and risk.
• Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct complex RFIs, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
• Facilitate the development of a charter and integrated timeline.
• Ensure all project functions remain on schedule, and issues get resolved or escalated.
• Facilitate regular meetings to review project status for active and pending projects.
• Collaborate to develop solutions and guide the project team through implementation and completion.
• Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.
• Showcase expertise in own job discipline and in-depth knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function.
• Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view.

About the Role

The Senior Project Manager provides consulting services for our financial services client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives. Projects consist of regional retail bank renovation construction projects.

This job is part of the Project Management function responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion. Remote role that requires up to 25%-30% regional travel either in the Eastern or Central time zones.

What You’ll Do

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
• Financial services client experience required. Retail construction program experience highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with Kahua, MS Project, or other project management software.
• Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions that have a broad impact on the business.
• Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.
