Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a Project Manager to plan, organize, and oversee projects across cross-functional teams in a healthcare-focused setting. You will manage the full project life cycle—from requirements gathering and planning to deployment and closure—while communicating status and mitigating risks to stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of project management experience; PMP/CAPM certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience.
• PMP or CAPM certification preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, monitor, and oversee projects with cross-functional teams.
• Manage full project life cycle: requirements, plans, resources, budget, execution, deployment, and closure.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders and negotiate resources to mitigate risks.
• Coordinate cross-functional meetings to meet stakeholder expectations and company objectives.
• Maintain detailed project documentation including meeting minutes, action items, and risk plans.
• Create milestone documents, dashboards, ROI tables, and departmental success metrics.
