Job summary

Fehr Graham is seeking a Senior Project Manager in the Rockford, IL area to lead municipal engineering projects and serve as the primary client contact. You will guide project execution, proposals, contracts and presentations while maintaining strong client relationships.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in municipal project management, consulting experience, PM certification, a professional license, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met with precision and professionalism.
• Cultivate and maintain client relationships; prepare and deliver proposals, contracts and presentations.
• Oversee projects to ensure success; coordinate scheduling, staffing and quality.
• Lead project teams including staff and subconsultants to deliver results.
• Invoice clients and provide explanations for billed items.
• Maintain client confidentiality and document control.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis for project write-offs and ensure QC.
• Communicate technical concepts to clients and team.
• Prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Work across disciplines to cross-market services.
