Avangrid is seeking a Project Manager, Major Construction, to lead and coordinate multi‑million-dollar infrastructure initiatives in the Northeast US. You will manage complex substation, line, and gas projects across Maine, New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts, directing resources, schedules, budgets, and risk strategies.

You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, oversee procurement, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading heavy construction projects.
• Contract negotiations and supplier management.
• Permit siting experience.
• PM Certification (PMP).
• Construction safety training.
• Public speaking, construction management, regulatory compliance.

Responsabilités

• Analyze project performance and control scope, schedule, and cost.
• Oversee progress to meet budgets and deadlines.
• Approve plans, contract strategies, and expenditures.
• Ensure compliance with project and quality processes.
• Maintain schedules and risk management plans for multiple projects.
• Procure contractors for design, construction, and oversight.
• Use critical path and earned value for progress tracking.
• Present reports on cost-schedule-risk to leadership.
