KFM Engineering & Design seeks a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) – Project Manager to lead surveying, engineering, and land development projects across Texas. You will guide client engagements, plan projects, and oversee delivery, while maintaining high standards and client satisfaction.

In this leadership role you will mentor teams, manage budgets and schedules, develop proposals, and foster new business partnerships, ensuring quality deliverables on time.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) license.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a RPLS, including 3+ years of supervision.
• Active participation in industry association(s).
• Demonstrate leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent technical knowledge and business development experience.
• Proficient CAD knowledge, Civil 3D required.

Responsibilities

Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) – Project Manager

Join KFM Engineering & Design as a RPLS Project Manager and play a key role in delivering high-quality surveying, engineering, and land development solutions across Texas. In this leadership-focused role, you will oversee the full lifecycle of projects—from initial client engagement and project planning through final delivery and client satisfaction. As a representative of KFM’s commitment to quality and client service, you will maintain strong relationships with existing clients while helping identify and develop new business opportunities. You will lead and coordinate team workflows to ensure projects are completed efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest standards. Essential Responsibilities

• Learn 4Ward Standards of Service & actualize in leadership execution.
• Train and develop team to move upward within the company.
• Perform annual evaluation with each team member.
• Routinely check‑in with each team member as to the advancement of their career goals.
• Approve timecards and vacation requests as appropriate to execute project deadlines.
• Creates proposals and ensures notice‑to‑proceed signed by Client.
• Obtain Client billing information.
• Utilize Unanet CRM & AE to schedule resources & manage workflows of project.
• Ensure each project is completed on time, with quality deliverables, and within budget.
• Meet with clients or crews on job sites as needed.
• Provide timely communication to Client(s) during project lifecycle.
• Provide QA/QC and peer review of products and provide resolution to complex Client projects.
• Develop new business partnerships.
• Continuing to grow existing business partnerships.
• Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a RPLS, including 3+ years of supervision experience.
