Kimley-Horn seeks a Senior Project Manager to expand its Land Development practice in Virginia Beach, VA. The role leads a Land Development team, builds key client relationships, and drives strategic growth with autonomy and potential ownership based on performance.

Qualified candidates bring 12+ years of project management in land development, a P.E. license, and strong BD/marketing experience, including proposals and budgeting. Expect robust bonus potential and leadership opportunities.

• 12+ years of experience managing land development projects.
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Extensive client contacts with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners and/or land owners.
• Strong technical skills with AutoCAD Civil3D.
• Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work.
• Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner.
• Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably.

Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager to expand our Land Development practice in Virginia Beach, VA!

Responsibilities

• The qualified individual will lead a Land Development team while building and managing relationships with key clients

• Our Project Managers/Practice Builders manage their projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentor


• The successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their business


• With success, this individual will enjoy the rewards of an impressive bonus program with the potential to advance to ownership

Salary Range: $140K-195K
