Job summary

Bohler's Fairfield, CT office seeks a Director of Land Development to oversee complex site design projects from feasibility to construction support across Southern Connecticut. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and drive outcomes that exceed expectations.

You will mentor project managers, champion business development, and ensure compliance with zoning, permitting, and regulatory requirements while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; PE license preferred.
  • 15+ years of land development and site design experience.
  • At least 7 years of staff management and leadership experience.
  • Expertise in grading, stormwater management, zoning, utility design, and permitting.
  • Strong communication and public presentation skills.

About The Role

Bohler's Fairfield, CT office is seeking a Director of Land Development to oversee complex land development projects, commercial, residential, and industrial, across the region. You'll lead multidisciplinary teams through all phases of development, from feasibility and design to permitting and construction support, driving results that exceed client expectations and foster long-term growth.
