Job summary

Shawmut Design and Construction, incorporating First Finish, is seeking a Senior Project Manager with hospitality and commercial project experience. You will lead a project team, drive development of team members, and foster critical client relationships to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include guiding projects through pre-construction to post-construction, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring financial controls while upholding Shawmut's safety and quality

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction management experience in commercial general contracting.
• Experience in schedule-driven/fast-track projects (commercial, tenant interiors, hospitality).
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and budgets.
• Experience with Timberline Sage and Procore or similar tools.
• Willingness to travel for business.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams through pre-construction, construction, closeout, and post-construction services.
• Address constructability issues, costs, and logistics.
• Ensure accurate financial processes, budgets, billings, and change orders.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors, and landlords/brokers.

Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a Senior Project Managerwith hospitality and commercial project experience. Do you thrive running a project team by driving the growth and development of project team members? Do you love developing critical relationships with internal and external clients? In this position you will lead a team responsible for numerous construction management related tasks including, project execution, financial management, and delivering projects the First Finish way while achieving financial control and profit goals for each project.

• Take an active role in and guide projects and project teams in each phase including pre-construction, construction, closeout, and post-construction services
• Identify and focus on critical issues related to constructability including associated costs and logistical issues
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all First Finish financial processes, controls, and reports, i.e., internal budgets, costs to complete, billings, collections, subcontractor payments, change order preparation and resolution, contracts, etc.
• Develop, nurture and maintain ongoing client, architect, subcontractor and industry (landlords, brokers, etc) relationships at the appropriate level reinforcing Shawmut's dedication to continuously addressing their needs and interests.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in construction management with a commercial general contracting company
• Experience building schedule driven/fast track projects specifically in Commercial, Tenant Interiors, Hospitality (Hotels), and Retail
• Demonstrated success managing complex projects especially Commercial/Developer sectors a plus
• Extensive experience maintaining project budgets and schedules
• Direct responsibility of leading and developing staff
• Experience with Timberline Sage and Procore or similar project management tools required.
• Must have the flexibility for required business travel.

Base Salary Range: $145,000 to $190,000The range stated is specific to Los Angeles. Placement within the listed range depends on many factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, project size capability (for Con & Field roles), and internal company equity.
