ITAC seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead industrial project development, execution, and client alignment. You will coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction resources to deliver scope on time and within budget.

The role requires managing schedules, budgets, and change orders while ensuring quality and safety standards. A strong leadership culture and client engagement are essential for success in this on-site position with potential direct hire on client sites in CT or NJ.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree from ABET-accredited institution in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years in engineering, construction, or project management roles within the Industrial space.
  • Multidiscipline project design experience.
  • Familiarity with commissioning, startup, and construction support tasks.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead diverse teams.
  • Experience in manufacturing and industrial construction environment.
  • Experience overseeing industrial projects from conception and design to completion and startup.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and project management tools.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues under pressure.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to teach and mentor others.
  • PMP or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred for senior-level positions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring proper resource allocation and timely delivery.

This is a seconded position, meaning the selected candidate will be employed by ITAC but work full-time on assignment with one of our clients. While day-to-day responsibilities will be managed on-site with the client, ITAC provides ongoing support, resources, and benefits as your employer. The position is full time contract work anticipated to last 6 months with potential to direct hire with the client. The position will also require the employee work onsite at the client's West Haven, CT, and/or Piscataway, NJ location.

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in leading an industrial project development, execution, ensuring technical excellence, compliance with contractual obligations, and alignment with client objectives. The position involves managing scope, schedule, and budget, coordinating engineering and construction resources, and driving project success through proactive leadership and client engagement.

Responsibilities
Project Management
