Job summary

Rivet Operations Company LLC seeks a Senior Project Manager for the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, Maryland, to lead large-scale construction projects in support of the USSS Facility Engineering Branch.

You will oversee all construction activities at a major site and manage day-to-day project tasks with the CO, COR, and stakeholders. The role requires deep construction PM experience on high-value projects, ability to travel between JJRTC and project locations, and strong leadership

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 20 years’ project management experience on commercial or government construction.
• Project management experience on projects over $50M.
• PM certification preferred (PMP) or similar.

Responsibilities

• Oversee large-scale construction projects and provide oversight of all construction efforts at a large project site.
• Provide the day-to-day project management for construction and service projects.
• Coordinate with customers and conduct schedule review and design review.
• Develop solutions to construction problems or existing field conditions, and review contractor submittals for contract conformance.
• Coordinate stakeholders and resolve operational and technical issues promptly.
• Support the CO and COR throughout the acquisition phases of each project.
• Draft technical responses to change orders and prepare statements of work and cost estimates for new contracts and contract modifications.
