Job summary

Milestone Contractors is seeking a qualified project manager to plan, direct, and oversee heavy/highway construction projects. The role includes coordinating schedules, managing subcontractors, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance on site.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of PM experience in heavy highway or 4+ years as an assistant PM, with a preference for a Bachelor's in Construction Management or related field.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years’ experience as a project manager in the heavy highway industry, OR 4+ years of experience as an assistant project manager with progressive responsibilities.
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Experience coordinating with owners, subs, and suppliers, and managing project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate project activities from planning through closeout.
• Maintain and communicate project schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate and document utility relocation efforts and change orders.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with OSHA, EEO, and other regulations.
• Develop knowledge of plans, specs, subcontracts, POs, shop drawings, and submittals.
• Organize and represent the company at project coordination meetings.
