Job summary

E4H Environments for Health Architecture, a MOREgroup brand, invites an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Chantilly, VA office. You will lead projects from inception through completion, coordinating client needs, design development, and construction administration to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Architecture or Construction, healthcare experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of drawings, specs, and construction processes.
  • Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and field observations.
  • Familiarity with Newforma and BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage projects from pre-construction through completion, including scope, schedule, budget, and coordination.
  • Serve as liaison between owners, architects, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Conduct regular site visits and OAC meetings to monitor progress and quality.
  • Coordinate construction administration activities including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Identify and resolve construction issues and potential impacts to schedule or budget.
  • Prepare field observation reports, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
  • Monitor budgets, expenditures, schedules, and progress.
  • Maintain organized project records and communication with stakeholders.
  • Build strong client relationships and provide project updates and recommendations.
  • Lead design and coordination of building envelope systems with project teams.
  • Collaborate with civil and structural engineers to ensure coordination.

Position Summary

E4H is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Chantilly, VA office! This role combines project leadership, client management, technical coordination, and construction administration to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, to the highest standards of design and quality.
The ideal candidate will have strong construction knowledge, project management experience, and the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues while keeping projects on track.

RESPONSBILTIES
  • Lead and manage projects from pre-construction through completion, including project scope, schedule, budget, and overall project coordination.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between owners, architects, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams.
  • Conduct regular construction site visits and OAC meetings to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with contract documents.
  • Coordinate and oversee construction administration, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, payment applications, and Requests for Proposals.
  • Identify and help resolve construction issues, coordination conflicts, and potential impacts to project schedule or budget.
  • Prepare field observation reports, meeting minutes, and other project documentation.
  • Monitor project budgets, expenditures, schedules, and construction progress.
  • Maintain organized project records, including correspondence, test reports, shop drawings, and other construction documentation.
  • Build strong client relationships and communicate project updates, concerns, and recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Lead the design and coordination of building envelope systems in coordination with project teams.
  • Collaborate closely with civil and structural engineers to ensure building, site, and structural solutions are coordinated.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum of 8 – 10 years of experience in Architecture or Construction industry. Healthcare experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and construction processes.
  • Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, payment applications, field observations, and construction documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials and methods, including masonry, ICF, and steel stud construction.
  • Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and client relationship skills.
  • Experience with Newforma and BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud preferred.
LOCATION
  • Hybrid role in Chantilly, VA
  • Ability to travel to various project sites as needed.
