Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Senior Project Manager for its Building Science Solutions in New York City. You will manage a portfolio focused on existing buildings, lead enclosure investigations, design repairs, and coordinate BECx activities while maintaining client relationships.

Travel up to 40% may be required; the role emphasizes field testing, reporting, and collaboration with architectural/engineering teams to deliver high-quality building enclosure solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management required.
• 8+ years of Enclosure Consulting/Commissioning experience needed.
• Technical knowledge of building enclosure systems and construction.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills; ability to travel 20–40%.

Responsibilities

• Provide survey, evaluation & consulting for existing building enclosures.
• Conduct forensic investigations and documentation of existing conditions.
• Provide remediation design of building enclosures.
• Perform building enclosure review of drawings, shop drawings and submittals.
• Provide construction administration services including RFI and submittal reviews and site visits.
• Assist with field performance testing and water leakage testing.
• Prepare professionally written technical reports.
• Prepare sketches using AutoCAD, 3D software or hand-sketch techniques.
• Provide litigation support for building enclosure projects.
