CA Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) HQ, Executive Appointments Unit, seeks an Analyst IV to serve as Senior Project Manager for the CEA examinations and SME for centralized selection processes. Under general direction, the analyst provides expert consultation, leads program oversight, and ensures compliance with personnel policies.

This role supports executive recruitment activities with a focus on merit-based selection, maintains confidentiality, and leads staff in a hybrid

Competenze

• Experience with State of California classification and pay, Career Executive Assignments/Exempt appointments, and/or recruitment/selection services.
• Experience advising and consulting executive-level leadership.
• Ability to effectively resolve complex operational issues.
• Experience handling multiple courses of action simultaneously.
• Experience handling highly confidential or sensitive information
• Demonstrated professionalism, political tact, and business acumen with the ability to gain the confidence of peers, management, and executive leadership.
• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to express ideas, facts, and information in a clear, concise, accurate, and organized manner.
• High attention to detail with exceptional prioritization, time management, and organization skills.
• Working knowledge of the State's civil service system, including classification and pay, Career Executive Assignments/Exempt appointments, and recruitment/selection services.
