Job summary

Wunderlich-Malec Engineering is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support projects in Kansas City, Tulsa, OK, and surrounding areas. You will assist the Business Unit Manager, lead project delivery, and ensure quality control across client sites.

This role demands strong leadership, technical guidance, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates have 10+ years of experience, a BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field, and demonstrated expertise in project

Qualifications

• Requires 10+ years related experience.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering preferred; other engineering disciplines or construction management may be substituted.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Consulting engineering and industrial manufacturing experience strongly desired.
• Knowledge of industrial standards (OSHA, EPA, Building Codes, GMP).
• Data Center background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect field data and client documentation for scoping and engineering.
• Prepare project engineering, procurement, and construction specifications.
• Prepare justification and project approval documentation for clients.
• Manage engineering with internal and external resources.
• Oversee procurement of equipment and materials.
• Review drawings and technical specifications.
• Lead construction solicitation and management.
• Develop and administer project budgets and fiscal controls; perform cost estimates and value engineering.
• Represent the firm with clients, consultants, contractors, and agencies.
• Assist in proposals, reports, and project deliveries.
• Perform other duties as assigned by BU Manager and client managers.
