Senior Project Manager - Electrical Construction

Location: Denver, CO

Employment Type: Full-Time, In-Office

Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 per year, based on experience

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, high-impact projects from inception through completion.

Position Overview

As the Senior Project Manager in our Denver office, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the full lifecycle of electrical and construction projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met. This position requires extensive experience in Electrical Manufacturing or Construction project management, with an emphasis on effective resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Lead and manage all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery within the Electrical Manufacturing and Construction sectors. Ensure all projects adhere to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Data Center Projects: Lead data center projects from planning to completion, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest level of quality and performance.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between clients, engineering teams, contractors, and senior leadership, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
  • Budget Management: Oversee budgeting and financial planning for all assigned projects. Monitor and control costs to meet or exceed project profitability goals.
  • Risk and Compliance: Identify project risks and develop comprehensive mitigation plans to maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, including both internal teams and external vendors, to achieve project milestones efficiently.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain meticulous project documentation and deliver regular updates to stakeholders on project status, milestones, and any potential issues.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience considered.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in project management with a focus on Electrical Manufacturing or Construction projects.
  • Specialized Knowledge: At least 5-7 years of experience in managing large-scale projects in the electrical manufacturing or construction sectors, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in data center construction or renovation.
  • Stability: Demonstrated history of stability and commitment in prior roles, with at least 3 years of tenure in each previous position.
  • Skills: Exceptional organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar) is highly desirable.
  • Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred; OSHA certifications a plus.
