Job summary

Feyen Zylstra in Nashville, TN is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large commercial and industrial electrical construction projects. You will provide overall direction, financial oversight, and risk management, ensuring safety and quality on site while coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and resources.

You will design project scope, develop full-scale plans with timelines, budgets, and milestones, and maintain proactive communication with GCs, subcontractors, and vendors.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in construction or electrical related project management.
• Experience managing multiple large projects valued above $10 million.
• Experience leading project teams of 30+ resources on projects lasting 12+ months.
• Demonstrated experience with resource management and risk and change management.
• Strong knowledge of Bluebeam, Trimble Accubid, and MS Office Suite.
• Strong planning, organizing, delegation, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel regionally to project sites required throughout the Middle Tennessee region.

This role is responsible for the overall direction, financial and risk management of large commercial and industrial electrical construction projects.

• A Project Leader. You have a proven track record of successfully managing multiple large projects. You have the ability to manage the people, resources, goals and deliverables necessary to make the project successful. Above all, you hold the Safety of your FZ team as your top priority.
• A Strategist. You facilitate and design the overall project, scope, and deliverables. You effectively formulate those into full-scale project plans with timelines, tasks, resources, and budget.
• A Problem Solver. Your skills include prioritization, delegation, risk assessment, communicating and multi-tasking. When problems arise, things get off track, or an emergency presents itself, you roll up your sleeves to collaborate, direct, and get the job done.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in construction management or equivalent experience in electrical construction management preferred
