Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead construction projects from concept through closeout on sites across the United States. You will partner with designers, engineers and contractors to drive design-build delivery for high-profile, multi-million dollar programs and ensure safety, quality, and on-time completion.

The role demands strong leadership, budgeting, scheduling, and team mentorship, with travel to project sites nationwide and a track record managing $50 million+ builds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• 10–15 years of experience managing construction projects ($50+ million) ideally design-build.
• Strong project safety record and commitment to safety and quality.
• Experience with setup, budget planning, buyout, and cost reporting.
• Knowledge of construction principles, practices and technology.
• Experience leading a project management team.
• Creative and results-oriented with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to walk job site, climb ladders and multi-floor scaffolding.
• Ability to lift objects at least 50 lbs.

The Specifics of the Role

The Senior Project Manager will be based on the construction project site and will be responsible for taking projects from conceptual stages through closeout. Provide leadership, technical direction, and deliver the best solutions on design-build projects valued anywhere from a $60 million to over $250 million. At Clayco, a Senior Project Manager is responsible for assisting with preconstruction, buying out contracts, and managing the project from start to finish.
