Marker, Inc. in Columbus, OH, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

You will serve as a trusted client advisor, guide high-performing teams, and deliver outcomes aligned with Marker’s commitment to quality, safety, and partnerships. The role emphasizes mentoring project teams, managing budgets and schedules, and driving business development while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven success managing complex commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and best practices.
• Skilled in project management software including MS Office, Procore, and Primavera P6.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to mentor and develop team members while fostering a collaborative environment.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of project management experience with direct supervisory responsibilities.

• Review and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and scopes of work for clarity and alignment with project goals.
• Support preconstruction efforts by reviewing estimates and providing input on project approach and planning.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and company procedures.
• Contribute to business development by nurturing long-term client relationships and identifying future work opportunities.
