Job summary

The candidate should hold a BS in Civil Engineering with GA PE registration and 8–10 years of relevant experience, and must meet EMC's background and driving record requirements. Some travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
• GA PE registration required; additional state registrations preferred.
• 8–10 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with clients and internal teams.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record per EMC policy.
• Ability to pass background checks for client sites.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and deliver quality service.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks per instructions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate, and direct large projects or major survey programs.
• Maintain client liaison, prepare proposals, and draft contractual agreements.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and pursue new opportunities.
• Represent EMC at civic events to support business development.
• Assist in marketing plans for the department.
• Organize and supervise engineering staff and technicians; monitor progress and budget.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of all project deliverables and communications.
• Prepare revenue and staffing projections for senior management.
• Support professional development and training within the team.
• Perform related duties and comply with company policies.
