Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Syracuse, Auburn, or Binghamton, NY to lead project development from concept to completion and provide construction oversight. You’ll analyze reports and assist with budgets, schedules and project controls while maintaining client relationships.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Architecture/Engineering/Construction Management, 8 years in construction, and 4+ years as Assistant PM for large projects; on-site five days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Architecture, and Engineering discipline, or Construction Management.
• 8 years’ experience in construction involving large-scale building projects.
• Minimum 4 years as Assistant Project Manager on projects above $10 million.
• Experience with PLA in medium to large urban areas.
• On-site leadership and scheduling, safety, quality, and coordination skills.

We're looking for an experienced and collaborative Senior Project Manager in Syracuse, NY; Auburn, NY or Binghamton, NYwho thrives when people are in sync and projects are running not just on time but within budget. You’ll be responsible for the management of the project development from conception through completion in accordance with program objectives.You’ll manage and provide construction oversight and resolve complex construction project related challenges.

You’ll be responsible for analyzing and developing reports, meeting minutes, correspondences, project awards, invoices, and assist with development and management of project budgets, schedules, and project controls. You’ll provide effective, skilled project management to help reduce the costs of delivering projects and adding value to the client by applying proven project management techniques. Your ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment is a must to be successful at this role.

Here's what you'll need

• Bachelor degree in Architecture, and Engineering discipline, or Construction Management
• 8 years’ experience in construction involving multiple phases of large-scale building/rehabilitation projects
• Minimum 4 years’ experience shall be in the role of Assistant Project Manager, responsible for large-scale projects valued above $10 million
• Experience must include a minimum of 3 projects with PLA in medium to large urban area
• Able to manage the various projects using established controls and procedures
• Provide job site leadership in all areas of scheduling, safety, quality, coordination with the designers and any critical issues pertinent to the project or client/facility
• Knowledge of the change order and cost review process and the review/approval of contractor’s payment application
• Strong people leadership skills along with building and maintaining client relationships
• Ability to be proactive and incorporate interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive relationships
• Must work on-site five days a week in Syracuse, NY or Binghamton, NY

The base salary range for this position is $124,800.00 to $145,600.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
