Job summary

PortX, a leading AI-powered data and integration company for modern banking, is seeking a Senior Project Manager. You will lead cross-functional projects from initiation through delivery, coordinating scope, planning, budgeting and risk management in a remote-capable environment.

You’ll collaborate with customers and PortX technical teams, ensure customer outcomes, and report progress with clarity to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex projects from initiation to delivery.
• Practical experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional coordination.
• Solid understanding of system integrations, APIs, and related concepts.
• Experience in banking, credit unions, or payments (core banking, ISO 20022).
• Excellent written and spoken English; ability to explain complex issues clearly.
• Confident, customer-facing presence with ability to build trust and reassurance.
• Proactive, self-directed approach with strong planning and time management in a remote work environment.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to drive issues to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initiation through delivery, including scope definition, planning, budgeting, resource coordination, status reporting, risk management, and escalation.
• Facilitate project stand-ups and serve as a trusted point of contact for both customers and PortX technical team.
• Maintain a relentless focus on customer outcomes, ensuring projects deliver meaningful and measurable value.
• Engage key stakeholders at the right time, demonstrating responsiveness, sound judgment, and reliable follow-through.
• Identify and resolve delivery challenges proactively, adapting plans as priorities and requirements evolve.
• Provide managers and key stakeholders with clear, strategic reporting that highlights progress, risks, context, insights, and opportunities.
