Job summary

Veolia Water Technology is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to lead complex water treatment projects from concept to completion. You will guide engineers and professionals through design, procurement, fabrication, installation, and startup, serving as the primary accountability for technical and financial performance.

You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and cross-functional teams, with travel domestically and internationally to meet project goals and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or equivalent field.
• 10+ years of project management experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Strong foundation in engineering principles.
• Exceptional planning, organization, and time management skills.
• Clear, concise communication abilities.
• Proven ability to lead expert teams and exercise sound judgment in ambiguous situations.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all project activities in partnership with Lead Engineers and Sourcing Project Leaders.
• Champion quality and safety standards across every project phase.
• Ensure delivery on commitments while maintaining scope, schedule, and budget discipline.
• Manage stakeholder expectations with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Provide strategic project oversight and guidance to cross-functional teams.
• Maintain accurate project status reporting and financial tracking.

Job Description

Lead complex water treatment projects from conception to completion!

As Sr.Project Manager, you'll guide a talented team of engineers and professionals through every phase—from contract signature through design, vendor selection, fabrication, installation, and startup. You'll be the primary point of accountability to both clients and leadership for technical and financial performance.

• Background in industrial process systems (water treatment, chemical, oil & gas, or power)
• Fluency in French, Spanish, Chinese, or other languages
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

• Compensation is tied to the market for similarly bench-marked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range:USD$95,000 - $120,000annually
