Overview

Senior Project Manager position at First Quality (First Quality Home Care Products, LLC). This remote role leads complex projects for the Home Care Products business from ideation to delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, proper prioritization, resourcing, and schedules. The role provides visibility into project activity and ownership to enable timely and effective decision making.

Responsibilities
  • Own and lead the project management life-cycle from charter development and approvals through post-launch reviews, ensuring delivery against objectives and synergy across the project life-cycle.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to align project scope, identify critical success factors, allocate resources, and create detailed, actionable timelines.
  • Conduct risk assessments, proactively resolve issues, and ensure project resilience.
  • Identify and escalate issues and risks to stakeholders and senior leadership while minimizing disruption to the project.
  • Act as gatekeeper of the stage-gate process, leveraging data to inform decisions with robust data and documentation.
  • Manage intake of new projects and work requests, categorize and prioritize the portfolio, and facilitate Business Case reviews between requesters and senior leaders.
  • Provide ongoing visibility into project status by delivering dashboards with timely information for project stakeholders.
  • Analyze each project to determine required functions/disciplines and engage the appropriate leaders for successful execution.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 7 years of executive program/project management experience involving multiple functions and disciplines.
  • Experience in a consumer products manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
  • PMP certification highly preferred; Change Management certification a plus.
  • Financial acumen to align change efforts with the financial perspective of a project.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Project and other project management tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skills; ability to summarize large data into executive-level dashboards.
  • Executive influencing skills and ability to work with leaders at varying levels; comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving results.
  • Excellent technical and presentation skills – MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities; superb follow-up skills to keep processes moving and hold colleagues accountable.
Travel

Travel to First Quality facilities for key meetings and milestones is required. Travel range: approximately 5-25%.
