Job summary

IK Systems seeks a Senior Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of complex low-voltage construction projects, ensuring strategic execution and financial performance. You will mentor project managers and coordinate with stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal teams to align with company objectives and industry standards.

You will lead planning using PMO methodologies, manage costs and forecasting, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining safety and quality across all deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 10+ years senior PM experience in low-voltage or commercial construction.
• Valid driver's license.

Purpose

The Senior Project Manager oversees a portfolio of complex low-voltage construction projects, ensuring strategic
execution, financial performance, and process improvements. This role leads the project management team, mentors
project managers, and drives collaboration with stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal teams to align projects with
company objectives and industry standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (The How)

• Oversee a portfolio of highly complex low-voltage construction projects, setting achievable goals and ensuring successful project execution.
• Utilize best practice PMO methodologies to develop and manage project plans, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery.
• Take full accountability for project success, proactively addressing challenges and ensuring all objectives are met.
• Maintain oversight of project financials, including revenue tracking, profitability, forecasting, and client satisfaction.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Provide coaching and guidance to project managers and field deployment teams to ensure alignment with project objectives and milestones.
• Manage subcontractor relationships, including bid package creation, payment applications, and contract oversight.
• Serve as a primary liaison for stakeholders, ensuring project requirements, expectations, and progress are effectively communicated.
• Ensure quality standards and compliance with industry regulations and best practices across all project deliverables.
• Oversee the execution of project plans, monitoring progress, identifying risks, and making adjustments to ensure successful project completion.
• Identify process improvement opportunities within project management, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and project outcomes.

Skills and Competencies (What We Are Looking For)

Minimum Requirements

Education: Bachelors Degree

Experience: 10+ years of senior project management experience in low-voltage systems, commercial construction, or highly regulated markets, with extensive knowledge of low-voltage security systems and commercial construction applications.

Certificates or Licenses: Valid Drivers License

Technical Skills: Proficient in project portfolio management, financial oversight, and risk mitigation, with expertise in PMO
methodologies, process improvement, and subcontractor management.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or advanced degree in project management, business, or a related field.
• PMP Certification
• Combination of office work and on-site visits at customer locations or job sites.
• Requires periods of standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to [##] lbs.
• Exposure to varying weather conditions and jobsite environments.
• Compliance with safety protocols, including the use of PPE and adherence to OSHA and company safety regulations.
