Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team, working within the established culture and guidelines of the company. Qualified candidates will have extensive Bay Area business knowledge, strong communication and IT skills, demonstrated leadership, and at least 10 years of experience managing challenging projects.

Position Details:

• Title: Senior Project Manager
• Reports To: Operations Manager
• Status: Exempt
• Location: San Francisco Bay Area
• Required Experience: 10+ years
• Salary Range: $180,000 to $210,000+

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Participate in pre-construction activities as needed
• Act as liaison with clients, architects, consultants, and the Department of Building Inspection
• Interface with site supervisors; seek and implement innovative construction methods
• Prepare and maintain project schedules
• Prepare project documents such as client change orders, subcontracts, meeting minutes, letters, memorandums, notices, etc.
• Assist in coordinating with onsite contractors for planning and connecting new systems with existing utilities
• Control and monitor subcontractors and their performance
• Manage cost changes, track change order requests, and forecast financial results accurately
• Review and expedite submittals and materials
• Monitor critical material items and deliveries
• Maintain quality control and production efficiency
• Take immediate and direct responsibility for production phases of the project; resolve production problems
• Oversee site safety procedures
• Provide feedback on production costs to the Estimating Department

Minimum Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture (advanced degrees preferred)
• At least 10 years of construction-related experience managing projects valued between $50M and $200M
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with effective interpersonal skills
• Experience with MS Project or Primavera 6, Sage Timberline Estimating, Procore, On-Screen Takeoff, Precision Estimating software, Microsoft 365, Bluebeam, Docusign
• Preferred experience with AutoCAD, BIM, and V-Planner
