Job summary

Gilder Search Group in Reno, NV is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the division’s most complex commercial projects from preconstruction through turnover. You will own budgets, schedules, quality and safety while managing client relationships and coordinating with in‑house design teams.

With 8+ years of commercial construction PM experience, you’ll mentor junior PMs, drive constructability, and help scale the Reno operation toward senior leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of commercial construction PM experience with ownership of large or complex projects.
• Proficiency in Procore (or similar), Bluebeam, and MS Office.

• Lead the division’s largest and most complex commercial projects end to end — budget, schedule, quality, safety, and client relationships.
• Own project financials at a portfolio level: forecasts, cost reports, billings, and change management across multiple jobs.
• Manage subcontractor buyout, contracts, and performance; direct self-perform scopes.
• Drive schedules with superintendents and design teams from precon through turnover.
• Lead OAC meetings and own executive-level client and architect relationships.
• Mentor and develop PMs, PEs, and APMs; help build the division’s project management bench as it grows.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the division’s largest and most complex commercial projects end to end — budget, schedule, quality, safety, and client relationships

• Contribute to pursuits, preconstruction strategy, and go/no-go decisions
• Identify and mitigate risk across the project lifecycle, setting the standard for how the division delivers

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Engineering, or related — or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of commercial construction PM experience with a general contractor, including full ownership of large or complex projects
• Strong ground-up and/or major TI experience; design-build a significant plus
• Command of contracts, cost control, scheduling, and change management
• Proven ability to mentor project teams and lead through influence
• Proficiency in Procore (or similar), Bluebeam, and MS Office
• Strong client-facing presence and a collaborative, ego-free style
