Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree, 5–8+ years of PM experience, PMP certification, and the ability to influence senior leaders. Clearances (Act 73 FBI, Act 34, Act 33) are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 5–8+ years leading complex projects.
  • Advanced application of project management principles.
  • PMP certification required; other PM certifications may be considered.
  • Proven ability to manage ambiguity and complexity.
  • Strong coaching and leadership capabilities.
  • Clearances: Act 73 FBI, Act 34 Criminal, Act 33 Child Abuse.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Location: The Children's Institute Squirrel Hill Campus, 1405 Shady Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15217

Schedule:Monday – Friday, Full Time, Onsite

The Senior Project Manager leads complex, transformational initiatives in dynamic and uncertain environments. This role requires strong coordination across multiple disciplines, ensuring alignment among stakeholders while balancing competing priorities. The Project Manager will drive strategic outcomes by delivering measurable project benefits and influencing senior leaders and executives. In addition, the role focuses on optimizing cross-project processes and mentoring junior project managers in best practices and standards.
