Imprivata is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex IT solutions for healthcare providers in the U.S. This role oversees Imprivata and client teams, manages budgets, schedules, staffing, and third-party vendors, and reports on progress through regular updates.

The candidate will contribute to professional services methodologies and must possess 10+ years in software with 6+ years in PM, plus PMP/PgMP if possible. Travel up to 10% is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, CS, Eng or related field.
  • 10+ years in software with 6+ years PM in large deployments, healthcare is a plus.
  • PMP or PgMP certification preferred.
  • Advanced skills in MS Project, Excel, and CRM systems (Salesforce).
  • Proven leadership, communication, and staff-management abilities.
  • Autonomous problem-solving and customer-service mindset.
  • Proven ability to drive projects to completion in complex environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive-influence skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team for this remote opportunity out of the United States.

Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for implementing complex IT solutions for enterprise‑level healthcare provider clients in the U.S. Duties include preparing project plans, budgets, schedules, and staffing. This role will manage both Imprivata and client teams, as well as third‑party vendors, to deliver integrated solutions. Expertise in project management is required. The Senior Project Manager will provide clear communication of project progress through regular reporting, status meetings, and maintaining project plans. This role also contributes to the development of Imprivatas professional services methodologies, particularly in project oversight and management.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality software solutions on-time and on-budget, exceeding client expectations.
  • Manage all aspects of enterprise‑level project delivery, including scheduling, task management, and resource allocation.
  • Prioritize and manage expectations across internal and external contributors.
  • Keep leadership informed through regular project reviews and ad hoc updates.
  • Establish and maintain project plans from kickoff to production rollout, partnering with clients to resolve issues and manage risks.
  • Track and report on project status, time usage, and deliverable achievements.
  • Provide assistance in the agreement process, including SOW review, effort, and budget estimates.
  • Build and maintain solid client and partner relationships, identifying opportunities for additional services and support.
  • Other duties as assigned and required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in the software industry with 6+ years of involved Project Management experience in large‑scale deployments, preferably within healthcare services or systems integration.
  • PMP or PgMP certification preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Project, Excel, and CRM systems (Salesforce.com), with experience in PSA platforms (e.g., OpenAir, FinancialForce).
  • Effective leadership, communication, and social skills with experience managing staff in an operational environment.
  • Autonomous problem‑solving, self‑motivation, and a positive customer service attitude.
  • Proven ability to drive projects to completion in complex, matrixed corporate environments.
  • Exceptional customer management, conflict resolution, and executive‑level influence skills.
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

This position offers a total compensation range of $141,000.00 - $153,000.00 (inclusive of base salary and variable compensation, such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivatas benefit offerings can be found here. This range represents the high and low end of Imprivatas compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate’s location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
