Job summary

Bounteous in Irving, TX is seeking a Senior Project Manager who owns overall delivery execution and the client-facing program management relationship. You will oversee schedule, budget, staffing, quality, risk, and stakeholder alignment, acting as the single point of accountability for what the program delivers, when, and at what cost.

Candidates should have 8+ years of software project management, deep knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum, and experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, and MS Project.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience in a software/technical environment.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and Kanban.
• Experience with project tracking tools (Jira, Asana, Azure DevOps, MS Project).
• Excellent stakeholder management and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end project planning with offshore counterpart: scope, timelines, resource allocation, and milestone tracking across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Partner with engineering leads to break down technical requirements into actionable sprints/tasks, and manage backlogs in tools like Jira or Azure DevOps
• Identify risks and blockers early; drive mitigation plans and escalate proactively to leadership
• Facilitate agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retros) and maintain project documentation
• Communicate status, timelines, and tradeoffs clearly to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders/executives
• Coordinate dependencies across engineering, QA, product, and design teams to prevent delivery bottlenecks
• Manage vendor/third-party integration timelines where applicable
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes (e.g., release cadence, sprint velocity, retro action items)

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience in a software/technical environment
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and/or Kanban methodologies
• Experience with project tracking tools (Jira, Asana, Azure DevOps, MS Project)
• Ability to read technical specs and engage credibly in engineering discussions (without necessarily coding)
• Excellent stakeholder management and written/verbal communication skills

• Experience in pharmaceutical distribution, healthcare, or another regulated industry.
• Experience managing engagements with a distributed onshore/offshore delivery model.
