Summary

Redtail Renewables is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our growing RNG

(Renewable Natural Gas) company. We are looking for a dynamic team member with a positive

attitude, excellent interpersonal skills and strong analytical skills. This person should be

proficient at working on multiple projects simultaneously and be equally comfortable working

independently and in a team setting. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the

engineering, design, permitting, construction, and commissioning of renewable natural gas

plants. This position reports to the VP of Project Development.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage projects with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Create and maintain overall responsibility for project schedule and budget throughout life
  • of project.
  • Interact and coordinate activities with engineering, permitting, construction,
  • commissioning, and operations teams throughout the project.
  • Provide project reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify project optimization and cost reduction
  • opportunities.
  • Evaluate gas interconnection and pipeline options, as well as gas resource and quality
  • requirements.
  • Develop project execution and permitting plans. Ensure permit, code, and contract
  • compliance during construction.
  • Assist in evaluating and selecting process technology and equipment providers
  • Manage equipment procurements, schedule, and budget.
  • Select engineering consultants and manage engineering deliverables.
  • Develop commissioning plan.
  • Manage construction completion, commissioning, and Acceptance Testing and Project
  • close-out.

Skills, Experience Required

  • 5+ years of proven experience in landfill gas to energy, High BTU/ RNG, power
  • generation, LNG, oil refinery, pipeline, chemical process, or gas process industry.
  • Engineering or related degree
  • Professional or Chartered Engineering Status.
  • Proven track record leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver both engineering and
  • construction work.
  • Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient on Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be willing to travel to project locations often.
