Position Overview

This managerial position involves managing projects and leading teams, with projects spanning private and public sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Represent and embody F.H. Paschen's core values: tenacity, versatility, ingenuity, and pride.
• Manage construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Serve as the primary contact for management, architects, subcontractors, owners, and engineers.
• Participate in project lifecycle activities including estimating, value engineering, and scheduling.
• Supervise project teams.
• Collaborate with other project managers and superintendents to find solutions.
• Negotiate financial disputes and change orders.
• Document and negotiate project changes affecting costs or timelines.
• Develop quality assurance and quality control plans.
• Coordinate safety plans.
• Manage MBE/WBE subcontracting and EEO/Affirmative Action requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• B.S. in Construction Management or Engineering with at least 10 years of construction experience.
• Experience managing projects or programs with a general contractor.
• Ability to manage projects and personnel simultaneously.
• Knowledge of construction, design, cost reporting, and cash flow management.
• Proficiency in project management software, scheduling, and strong communication and organizational skills.
