Job summary

Ping Identity, headquartered in Denver, Colorado, seeks a Senior Project Manager in the Business Transformation Office to lead strategic initiatives that improve organizational performance across departments. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Colorado-based hybrid role; Tuesdays in the office.
• 5+ years PM/PMO experience.
• 3+ years business consulting.
• Strong execution toolkit: analysis, scoping, requirements gathering, delivery management, and change management.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a complex environment.
• Ability to bring structure to ambiguous problems and align multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of complex strategic initiatives across functions and systems.
• Translate stakeholder needs into scope, requirements, and delivery plans.
• Apply PM methodologies to deliver on time and within scope.
• Facilitate collaboration across technical and non-technical teams to drive clarity and execution.
• Track milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and decisions for sponsors and executives.
• Present project status, escalations, and trade-offs to leadership.
• Proactively resolve blockers and critical-path items with ownership.
• Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs.
• Contribute to evolution of BTO best practices, templates, policies, and tools.

As a Senior Project Manager in Ping Identity’s Business Transformation Office (BTO), you’ll lead complex, strategic initiatives that improve organizational performance across departments. Working closely with stakeholders across Business, IT, Engineering, and Operations, you’ll help define scope, align priorities, map future‑state processes, and drive delivery of high‑impact transformation initiatives.

This hybrid role, based in Denver, requires strong accountability, cross‑functional leadership, and a proactive approach to delivering outcomes.

You Will

• Manage a portfolio of complex strategic initiatives that span one or more functions, systems, and operating processes.
• Translate stakeholder needs into clear scope, requirements, delivery plans, and success measures.
• Apply project management methodologies to deliver initiatives on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives.
• Facilitate collaboration across technical and non‑technical teams to drive clarity, alignment, and execution.
• Track and communicate project milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and decisions to project teams, business sponsors, and executive stakeholders.
• Present project status, escalations, and trade‑offs to leadership as needed.
• Proactively resolve blockers, conflicts, and critical‑path items with a strong sense of ownership.
• Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs to drive successful outcomes.
• Contribute to the evolution of BTO best practices, templates, policies, and tools.

You Have

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Based in Colorado for hybrid work (currently Tuesdays in the office).
• 5+ years of experience in project management, program management, or PMO.
• 3+ years of experience in business consulting.
• Strong project execution toolkit, including analysis, scoping, requirements gathering, delivery management, and change management.
• Experience leading cross‑functional business and technology initiatives in a complex environment.
• Ability to bring structure to ambiguous problems and drive alignment across multiple stakeholder groups.

You Have an Advantage If

• Experience in technology and/or software/cloud environments.
• M&A integration and/or system implementation experience.
• Product and engineering exposure such as SDLC, pricing, migration, or new process rollout.
• Strong leadership, diplomatic, and motivational skills and can lead across multiple business and technology organizations.
• Experience in a fast‑paced and growing environment.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Technical competency with business applications including Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, JIRA, and Lucidchart.
• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.

Salary Range

$116,000 to $155,000

In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19‑085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
