Job summary

BWBR is seeking an experienced senior project manager to lead the design and delivery of complex healthcare and science & technology projects in Saint Paul, MN. You will serve as the primary client liaison and internal team leader, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and adherence to high design standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited institution.
• Licensed Architect in Minnesota preferred.
• 15+ years of professional experience with a minimum of 8 years focused on project management within a specific market.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with sustainability strategies, high-performance building design, or LEED projects.
• Construction administration and field coordination experience.
• Familiarity with Deltek software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of complex projects from concept through construction.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects ranging from renovations and additions to large-scale ground-up facilities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building long‑term trusted partnerships.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans; proactively identify and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate with architects and designers as well as external consultants and contractors to ensure integrated, code‑compliant project delivery.
• Ensure quality assurance reviews occur at key project milestones.
• Mentor less experienced staff and contribute to an engaging, collaborative and productive environment.
• Support business development initiatives by strengthening client relationships and contributing to proposals and interviews.
