Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Senior Project Lead Engineer in Raleigh to drive substation automation projects from design through commissioning. You will lead technical design, coordinate complex programs and engage with customers to ensure top-quality delivery.

Your background should include a decade of substation automation experience, strong SCADA and protection knowledge, and hands-on DOBLE/OMICRON testing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in substation automation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of SCADA, protection systems and protocols (Modbus, DNP3, GOOSE).
  • Hands-on electrical testing experience with DOBLE and OMICRON equipment.
  • Familiarity with utility substation operations and standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Candidate must already have work authorization to work in the United States for Hitachi Energy.

Your Background

  • Hands‑on experience with electrical testing using DOBLE and OMICRON equipment.
