Job Description

Responsible for executive project level leadership on a multimillion‑dollar, multi‑location, national Renewable Natural Gas / Waste Water projects. Oversee ongoing project development, project delivery, measurement & verification and other post‑sale activities. Determine resource levels to attain schedule milestones and monitor workforce levels to ensure conformance with the construction plan. Assist in developing the project execution plan and work breakdown structure. Implement the site safety and security procedures and project work rules, and play an active role in the development of the safety program. Develop and maintain customer and subcontractor relationships. Maintain customer satisfaction for the duration of the project and operate effectively in a matrix management environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact for a large, national energy retrofit project at multiple locations (bases, campuses, etc.).
• Ensure that assigned tasks are completed accurately, on‑time, billed, within budget and within scope of the contract.
• Maintain profitability goals and positive cash flow for assigned projects.
• Develop and lead a project team, owning the outcome and overseeing transition to site operations and maintenance.
• Work closely with National Delivery, Development, Site Operations, Area Resource and Delivery Manager teams to provide sales, engineering support and input on vendor/partner selection, scope enhancements, value engineering and risk assessment.
• Provide monthly reporting of project financial status, participate in Area General Manager monthly backlog reviews, and forecast revenue, costs and gross margin for project execution.
• Develop and adhere to a Project Execution Plan for each task order and overall project, establishing customer touch points throughout the life cycle to gather feedback.
• Ensure compliance with state, local and federal legal requirements; champion and drive the SSA Safety Program for employees and subcontractors.
• Maintain and cultivate long‑term relationships with contractors, subcontractors, vendors and industry organizations.
• Utilize resource planning techniques to maximize team productivity and manage detailed scope development, project costing/savings and reconciliation processes.
• Act proactively as a subject‑matter expert in RNG, applying knowledge of system design, construction, operations, performance optimization and compliance.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of construction management experience in the field of renewable natural gas.
• Experience managing projects in excess of $50M.
• Proficiency in business development, project development and construction management, including audit implications.
• Strong knowledge of commercial contracts, deal structures, financial acumen and supply‑chain disciplines.
• Skilled in scheduling software tools and project management applications.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, lead across multiple functions and manage critical project issues.
• Effective communication skills at all levels, including C‑level relationships.
• Willingness and ability to travel to project sites for meetings and oversight.
• Professional demeanor, highest ethical standards and commitment to safety compliance.

Salary Range
