Position: Full-Time, Staff SR Project Engineering Manager

Location: Greenville SC, Charlotte NC, or Remote.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Manage all or part of the engineering scope of projects, providing direction and coordination among engineering and design leads. Responsible for the execution of engineering deliverables, including schedule, budget, and document controls, ensuring effective communication among disciplines and project cost, schedule, and budget management.
  2. Manage medium to large projects independently, including specifications, documentation, permits, and design. Oversee suppliers/contractors, prepare estimates and budgets, and review expenditures. Supervise report and correspondence development.
  3. Develop project schedules, ensure milestones are met, and evaluate contract impacts on engineering schedules.
  4. Coordinate construction interface, support RFI/DCR/FCR processes, and integrate construction into early project reviews. Interface with site engineering and coordinate on-site engineering support requests.
  5. Lead department and organizational planning, develop policies, and interface with clients to resolve technical issues. Support proposal development, risk assessments, and project technical approaches.
  6. Plan work schedules, provide technical guidance, evaluate ongoing work, and initiate corrective actions.
  7. Define project services, deliverables, and technical data in alignment with RFQ/RFP, including interface points and project technology.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in project management, cost estimation, and engineering supervision.
  • Strong organizational and technical skills across disciplines.
  • Effective communication skills and proficiency in Office, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit (a plus).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • 10+ years of experience, with 5+ in Project Engineering/Management, preferably in EPC projects.
  • PE license strongly preferred.
Compensation:

The pay range is $136,400 - $204,600, subject to experience, location, and other factors.
