Job summary

ACE Services is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to provide technical and administrative support on large-scale wastewater treatment and utility infrastructure projects in the Mid-Atlantic region. You will manage planning, scheduling, cost control, procurement, and subcontractor coordination to ensure safe, on-time delivery of high-quality projects.

The role requires a Civil Engineering/Construction Management background, strong communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Project Engineer or Construction Engineer, including experience on wastewater treatment plant projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles, project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Drug testing and background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for day-to-day construction activities on assigned projects.
• Manage daily operations for multiple construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Review and understand contract plans, specifications, technical submittals, and shop drawings.
• Interpret engineering drawings to facilitate accurate project execution, including creating and analyzing work packages.
• Perform quality control checks of submittals and materials delivered to the project.
• Manage project budgets and schedules, optimize resource allocation, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders to streamline project delivery and resolve on-site challenges.
• Utilize advanced construction management techniques to enhance project efficiency and overall outcomes.
• Identify field problems, conduct analysis, and propose innovative solutions to constructability challenges.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractor activities, including contract negotiations, scheduling, and quality control oversight.
• Generate and submit daily reports to provide real-time insights on project progress, KPIs, and milestones.
• Attend all project meetings.
