Bolton & Menk, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Senior Project Engineer, PE to join our Transportation team in the Plymouth or Ramsey office.

You will lead design teams on transportation planning, design and construction reviews for highway/roadway, drainage, safety studies and multi-modal projects, while mentoring staff and growing transportation knowledge. Applicants should be self-motivated, able to build strong client relationships, and have a PE license, 10+ years of civil engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
• 10+ years' progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including hydraulic and hydrologic modeling.
• Experience in plan and specification development with construction contract administration.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Microstation, GeoPAK Drainage, HydroCAD, P8 and GIS.

• Performs preliminary layout, modeling and design.
• Researches and prepares rough drafts of preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
• Assists with project design and preparation of plans and specifications and prepare cost and quantity take-off estimates.

Job description

Bolton & Menk has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer, PE to join our Transportation team in our Plymouth or Ramsey office. In this role, you will support and lead design teams on transportation planning, design and construction reviews in connection with a wide range of multi-disciplined projects involving various aspects of highway/roadway/drainage design, safety studies, multi-modal roadway planning, transit design, site civil design, and design reviews. This role will work closely with our Project Managers with current project requirements and planning future projects, as well as mentoring and developing a team to help strengthen their transportation knowledge and skills.

We are looking for candidates who possess a high capacity for self-motivation and can apply engineering and transportation knowledge to a variety of projects. In addition, you must be able to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and staff from various agencies.

What You Will Be Doing:

What We Are Looking For:

Bolton & Menk will currently not be providing visa sponsorship or Optional Practical Training Extensions for STEM Students. Individuals must be legally authorized to work in the US at the start of employment without a need for current or future visa sponsorship.

Salary Range: $115,000 - $140,000 depending on years of experience and credentials

Bolton & Menk is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to specific geographic location.
