Job summary

Catalent Pharma Solutions in Harmans, MD is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead engineering projects in an FDA-regulated environment. You will coordinate scheduling, documentation, and communications across departments to ensure compliance and successful execution. This role involves working with internal teams and external vendors to meet project scopes and expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience managing engineering projects for process, lab, or facility equipment.
• Strong planning, organizational and prioritization skills.
• Effective interpersonal and written/spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing regularly scheduled project reports.
• Manage invoices and purchase orders for capital projects and budgets.
• Review Deviations, SOPs, and Change Controls for timely completion.
• Schedule multiple engineering projects across sites using project tracking software.
• Coordinate with schedulers and stakeholders to maintain timelines.
• Act as main contact with other department project managers or teams.
• Help subject matter experts create project scopes, goals, and deliverables.
• Maintain detailed project schedules and milestone updates.
• Apply industry standards (BPE, ISPE, GEP, GAMP) for execution.
• Coordinate vendors onsite and ensure documentation for activities.
• Follow Catalent safety and quality procedures.
