Brayman Construction is hiring a full‑time Senior Project Engineer to assist Excavation and Support of Excavation (SOE) construction at the newly awarded ALCOSAN Ohio River Tunnel Project. This large scale, long-term project is designed to reduce combined sewer overflows (CSO), requiring strong field leadership and rigorous safety oversight. JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager and Superintendent in overseeing Excavation and Support of Excavation (SOE) construction projects, which would include contract management, change order preparation, project schedule updating, vendor/supplier management, quantity tracking, production analysis, progress billing quantities/construction units for invoice preparation, resource allocation and coordination, estimating, and material pricing/project buyout.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 7 - 10 years of experience in heavy‑civil construction projects
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field, which may include Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Management or the equivalent experience in the construction industry
• Experience with various types of heavy civil construction work including, but not limited to, excavation, support of excavation (SOE), near surface construction is preferred.

SAFETY

This is a Safety Sensitive Position requiring work on project sites, including federal projects. Project sites contain various safety hazards associated with heavy construction. This position may require working at heights, in confined spaces, around heavy equipment, and under constantly changing circumstances. This position may also entail project site work at night and on weekends on an as needed basis.
