Job summary

Role Description

The Senior Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in the United States, responsible for leading the technical and coordination aspects of complex engineering projects. This role includes overseeing project design and engineering activities, preparing and reviewing technical documentation, and ensuring adherence to applicable standards and codes. The Senior Project Engineer will coordinate with project managers, clients, and internal teams to align project planning, schedule, budget, and resources with technical requirements. Daily responsibilities include monitoring project progress, resolving technical issues, supporting risk assessments, and contributing to continuous improvement in engineering processes. The role also involves mentoring junior engineers and providing clear communication to stakeholders regarding project status and technical decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong Project Engineering skills, including oversight of technical design, review of engineering deliverables, and coordination of multidisciplinary inputs.


• Proficiency in Project Management and Project Planning to manage schedules, budgets, milestones, and risk, and to support successful project execution.


• Solid foundation in Electrical Engineering, with experience applying relevant codes, standards, and best practices to project work.


• Effective Communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders, and for producing clear reports and presentations.


• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.


• Demonstrated experience in a senior or lead engineering role managing complex projects, preferably in an industrial or infrastructure environment.


• Proficiency with common engineering and project management tools and software, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with the ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
