Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in New York is seeking a Senior/Principal Process Engineer to design and specify cGMP process equipment, piping, and controls, and to lead mid-to-large scale projects. You will prepare P&IDs, develop Process Flow Diagrams, and support QA/Validation with design documents and protocols.

The role requires strong cross-cultural communication and the ability to lead without direct authority in a fast-paced biopharma setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years project/process engineering experience (Senior) or 8+ years (Principal).
• Direct experience with biopharmaceutical process equipment preferred.
• Solid understanding of process control systems and automation.
• Knowledge of engineering documentation for cGMP process and sanitary equipment.
• Experience planning and tracking project activities and schedules.
• Strong interpersonal/cross-cultural communication; ability to lead without direct authority.
• Full cleanroom attire; ability to remove jewelry/makeup/nail adornments when in cleanroom attire.
